Sports-related injuries sustained by officers of the State Fire Service on duty – nationwide 7-year follow-up

Aim The accident rate in the State Fire Service from 2015 to 2021 related sports activities was analyzed relation regions of country per year. Materials and methods study included analysis data SFS Headquarters – Department for Occupational Health Safety Preventive Health. Data collected across form an annual accident. reports such information as: number accidents, cause circumstances (injury), with a breakdown listing individual group accidents. Results During observation period, about 30,000 officers were on duty SFS, which 20% daily (8-h) duty, 80% shift (24-h) duty. Between 2021, there N = 11,332 (Mean: 1617.4; SD: 284.1) accidents SFS. Total covers mass injuries 4,254 532.2; 137.9). Conclusion There is need comprehensive approach physical training firefighter population. Physical activity should be continuous systematic strengthening whole body. Sports begin performing thorough warm-ups. It necessary maintain facilities, premises, equipment technical devices condition that sets ground doing safely hygienic manner. Most sustained by firefighters are team sports.
